Project "Forum of International Alumni of Soviet and Russian Universities representing Education and Healthcare systems of African countries" is organized to expand the realm of Russian education and consolidate the communities of alumni graduated from Soviet and Russian universities in order to respond to development challenges faced by African countries.
Introduction of advanced technologies into the higher education in engineering and healthcare is a key factor of sustainable economic development and social wellbeing on the African continent.
During the two Forum days leading Russian universities conduct the multi-format program, which includes:
The Forum is organized by St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI" supported by the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo), the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Dar es Salaam (Russian House), and Embassy of the Russian Federation in the United Republic of Tanzania.
The official Forum partner is The State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM.
Within the Forum of Russian Alumni in Africa, leading Russian universities will deliver a multi-format program and professional development courses.
