Forum of International Alumni of Soviet and Russian Universities Representing Education and Healthcare systems of African countries

Project "Forum of International Alumni of Soviet and Russian Universities representing Education and Healthcare systems of African countries" is organized to expand the realm of Russian education and consolidate the communities of alumni graduated from Soviet and Russian universities in order to respond to development challenges faced by African countries.

Introduction of advanced technologies into the higher education in engineering and healthcare is a key factor of sustainable economic development and social wellbeing on the African continent.

During the two Forum days leading Russian universities conduct the multi-format program, which includes:

• Plenary sessions and round-table discussions on the solution-oriented programs, projects and academic exchanges, which strengthen cooperation between Russian universities, business, authorities and their counterparts in African countries.
• Two professional development programs for educators, academics and healthcare professionals on the best-available technologies and practices in engineering education, healthcare and medicine. All program participants will get Professional efficiency certificates.
• Opportunities for establishing useful contacts, personal meetings with experts and participation in the cultural events.

The Forum is organized by St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI" supported by the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo), the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Dar es Salaam (Russian House), and Embassy of the Russian Federation in the United Republic of Tanzania.
